The Bon Accord Steam Engine Club welcomed three new committee members at the AGM in late 2012, meet your new committee members.
Mark Allan
Mark’s interest in steam began as a schoolboy when his father gave him a “Mamod” engine as a birthday present, he has recently realised his ambition to own a
full-size engine and is the proud owner of a 1908 Fowler traction engine and a Sentinel waggon.

Evan Smart
Steam enthusiast since an early age, Evan has a wealth of experience in maintaining and driving engines. A longtime supporter of the Club and regular helper with the Barrack’s Steam Museum.

Gary Thomson
Team leader at Nicol’s of Aberdeen, Gary has an abundance of knowledge of vintage trucks and all types of steam engines. He can regularly be seen at rallies all over the country with a selection of the Nicol’s collection of engines and trucks.
